About Me
Rebecca Keren Eisenstadt Jablonski is a rabbi for exceptional families in New York and all around the world. As a boutique rabbi, Rebecca is there for families when they need her most; she officiates lifecycle ceremonies like weddings, b'nai mitzvah, baby namings, conversions and funerals. She obtained semicha from Mesifta Adas Wolkowisk in New York. She graduated with Honors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Rebecca also graduated from the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, MD.
As a Hebrew and Judaic Studies educator for more than 20 years, she combines her love of Judaism, Hebrew language, and music to inspire her students. She guides education plans and customizes learning to match a comfortable level of religious observance or reach a religious goal. She works with various synagogues in Manhattan and is affiliated with several Rabbis in the US and Israel. Rebecca's first book, CONFESSIONS OF A FEMALE RABBI, with Viva Editions/Simon and Schuster is available now. She is also a contributing author to Zibby Owens' On Being Jewish Now. She is currently developing a scripted series based on her book, following her busy life as a young female Rabbi.

Tailored Teaching
Rebecca teaches children ages 4 and up. She teaches reading, religious and modern Hebrew, including for Bnei Mitzvah Preparation. She has worked with hundreds of young adults, teaching them to read and sing prayers and Torah. She has worked with most synagogues in the NYC area.

Jewish Life Beyond the Classroom
Many families choose to no longer affiliate with a synagogue or decide to hold their ceremonies in special locations, such as Israel or in an event space on Saturday evening. Rebecca can tailor mitzvah and wedding service content to make meaningful for your event.
With her lovable shih-poo, Scout, @barkmitzvahtutor, Rabbi Becky does much more than simply teaching: group lessons, cooking, music, family outings and art projects. She also is available to guide families through religious trips to Israel.

Rebecca apprenticed Obie Award Winner & Tony Nominee Elizabeth Swados (z'l) for more than 10 years, working with her as an actress, collaborator, dramaturg, and poetry assistant. Her favorite work was their project Rachel and Leah: The Musical Before Technicolor. Rebecca penned the lyrics and co-wrote the book with Daniella Rabbani. The music is composed by Elizabeth Swados, with musical direction by Kris Kukul. Before working on Rachel and Leah, they co-conceived and created Atonement: An Oratorio, about themes of social action and personal responsibility embedded within the Jewish High Holidays.
As an actress, she starred in the National Yiddish Theatre's Off-Broadway show, The Megile of Itzik Manger. Rebecca also starred in the LaMaMa E.T.C, Metropolitan Room and Axelrod Performing Arts Center productions of Rachel and Leah. Rebecca appeared in Swados's award winning tribute for the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire memorial, From the Fire. She has acted in various productions with The National Yiddish Theater/Folksbiene since 2009. Select NYC credits: Zillah in Tony Kushner's A Bright Room Called Day; Leah in Swados' The Dybbuk. She has performed at Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Town Hall and more. Rebecca holds a BFA from NYU-Tisch, trained at The Experimental Theater Wing, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA in London), Stonestreet Studios for Film and Television, Northwestern University's CHERUB Program and The Washington Conservatory of Music. She also worked for years with Richard Frankel Productions, Frankel Green Theatrical Management and Feinstein's/54 Below.
